About Proposition 65

At Leafwell Botanicals we will always hold ourselves to the highest quality standards. We take our responsibility to you very seriously and complying with all regulatory requirements is of utmost importance to us so you know you can trust our products.

As a result, given the recent addition of Delta 9 THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) to California's Proposition 65 List, we are required to add the Proposition 65 statement below to all of our products sold in California:

WARNING: This product can expose you to Tetrahydrocannabinol (D9 THC), which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. See www.P65Warnings.ca.gov.

The Proposition 65 warning is a state of California requirement to warn consumers about exposure to ingredients that may cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm, and in some cases (such as this one) it does not consider the levels of the ingredient(s) in the products.

Understandably, seeing this on Leafwell Botanicals products may cause you to question whether or not the products you're purchasing are safe. In simple terms, nothing has changed, and our products are still the safe great products you know and love. Even before this requirement we already the following disclaimer on our labels: "Consult a physician before using this product. Do not use if pregnant, lactating, suffering from medical condition(s), or taking medication(s)".

We are required to add the warning because given ∆9-THC was added to California's Proposition 65 list and our full spectrum products contain trace amounts of THC equaling no more than 0.30% THC.

We have long been abiding by and avoiding California's Proposition 65 banned ingredient list when formulating all of our products and have always avoided the ingredients in our sourcing practices.
